Dee,
I am a 12 year old girl who can appreciate great rock thanks to my Dad. He took me to my first concert when I was 3 to see Kiss and I have been his head banging buddy for summer concerts ever since. Could you please play something for my Dad? We listen to you each week. He is took me to Rocklahoma this year to see Lita Ford; she is my hero! I am trying so hard to learn to play like her. I love your show.
–Eilish in Stephens City, VA, listening to 104.9
P.S. Jesse Blaze got ripped off on Rock the Cradle. I watched it every week with my Dad. Crosby Loggins sucked.

Dee,
I am a teacher here on the Quinault Indian Reservation. Grew up here, and grew up listening to Motorhead’s “Ace of Spades.” Love the band, love the song, and now I pass it on to the kids that I teach. The kids didn’t buy into the music when I first start playing it, but now they can’t wait to hear the metal screaming out of the speakers. Because of bands like Motorhead, Twisted Sister and other greats, the kids are actually wanting to play real instruments. One of my students is really into his guitar night and day. The one song he wants to try and master is “Ace of Spades.” Can you give him some inspiration or a kick in the butt and play “Ace of Spades?” Keep on melting faces and I’ll keep on teaching the greatness of metal here on the rez. Thanks, Dee, I appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Frederick in Taholah, WA, listening to KDUX

Dee, I am on a constant high waiting for Rocklahoma — the excitement just keeps building. Every day I rush to the Web site to see what is new, and then what awesome news did I read? Ace Frehley joined the lineup. This just kept getting better and better. I have never been so excited about any other event in my life. So Dee, will you please play “Shout it Out Loud” for me and all the other hyped up Rocklahoma fans out there?! Thanks!

Dee,
You’re not going to like this email but I’ll send it anyway. You usually have exceptional choice in music matched by no other, but lately you’ve been disappointing me. There is a reason they call this genre hair metal and heavy metal. Please show people again why that is so. I actually fell asleep during your last radio show. Please don’t become a peaceful old fart on me. There is some metal in there I know it. You can do better than all the soft shit you’ve been playing lately. Give everyone METAL to jam to like you did when I first started listening. If you air this request also give out my email. I would like to see exactly how many people agree with me, and how many disagree. But I doubt you have the balls to do that anyway. All you usually air is people kissing your ass not chewing on it. Show some balls at least once and let’s see the metal monster in you.
Your always faithful even if disappointed fan,

I love it! Like you, I’m nauseated at hearing “More Than Turds” and “A-hole hearted.” C’mon, play the heavy hittin’ stuff! Please expand your show to 5 hours long - yee-effin-haw! Could you play “Decadence Dance” for me, friend? I’d appreciate it. Thanks and keep rockin’. Turn this mutha up!

On Sunday when I get home from church, my wife and I get all of our “Honey Do” list done then around 5 minutes to 12 I open a 32 ounce can of beer and we sit out back and crank the radio up to listen to the House of Hair. This is the only thing I look forward to all week, other than getting laid. By the time your show is over and 3 more cans of beer, I don’t even know what the sermon in church was about, but I always remember the songs you played. Please keep up the good work, I would go nuts if it wasn’t for the House of Hair! Thanks also for taking time out to read this. How can I get an autograph from you? Hope you will play soon with the band and do some tours thanks again for the House of Hair.

- Hey Dee,
I’m a freshman in high school who listens to your show as often as possible and, as you know, at this age it’s extremely hard to ask out girls. So I was wondering if you could play “No One Like You” by the Scorpions after you read this…me asking out a girl at school (by the way she would be even more unbelievably awesome if she is listening to this). She would recognize me by ‘Stephen King’. So, “Taz,” would you like to see a movie or something sometime? Thanks, Dee, you’re the best, and if it ain’t rock, it’s crap!
