About your House of Hair host: Dee Snider
Best known as the lead singer of the acclaimed rock band, Twisted Sister, Dee Snider is a radio personality, television host, author, screenplay writer, actor, a doting husband of 27 years, and the father of four children.
In radio, 2007 marks Dee’s 10th year hosting the nationally syndicated “House of Hair”, our weekly show heard in over 200 markets across the country. In February, he debuted as host of our newest program, the “Daily House of HairCut”.
Recently reunited with his original Twisted Sister mates, he keeps creating music, including their latest, “A Twisted Christmas”. With myriad appearances on VH-1, the network could easily be called DeeH-1. Beginning in 2004, VH-1 Classic signed Dee to be a host and face of the cable network. Among the many shows Dee has hosted for the network was 2005’s ‘Matzoh and Metal’, a show where Passover met Heavy Metal, and in 2004 VH-1 produced the special ‘Meet the Family’…an endearing look at Dee and his family. In 2005, Dee produced ‘Van Helsing’s Curse’, an eighteen piece rock orchestra that mixes everything from Black Sabbath to Beethoven. Written and narrated by Snider himself, Van Helsing’s Curse has been hailed by critics as the new soundtrack for Halloween.
More information about Dee can be found at his website, DeeSnider.com.

Play some TKO!!! TKO was a glam metal band that came out of Seattle Washington in the early 80’s. They put out a couple of albums in the mid 80’s. In Your Face (1984) is their debut LP and kicks major ass! I have never heard TKO on the HOH. TKO is truly a classic glam metal band that deserves to be heard! Go to youtube to hear TKO.

I love heavy metal. I loved it ever since I was a kid. I still love it today as an adult. Not only does it keep me focused on my work in college, but it eases my stress and helps me express my anger. Shouldn’t that be a reason to listen to House of Hair? You bet your ass it is.
