  I’ve been rocking to the old school metal ever since early in high school. Van Halen, Twisted Sister (of course!), Metallica, Black ‘N Blue, Poison, and Mama’s Boys are a few of my favorites. I’m proudly passing along the metal to my kids, all five of them — they’ll hopefully be headbanging with their kids, too!
  I discovered Helix back in the late ‘80s, but never heard their remake of the classic Crazy Elephant song “Gimme Gimme Good Lovin’” until just recently (thank God for YouTube!), and it just blew my effin’ socks off. The video for the song was noted for having Traci Lords in it, around the time it was discovered that she was doing porn underage, and it had it all: hot babes, hair, spandex, motorcycles, and a kick-ass tune driving it all. Can you share this under appreciated gem with everyone at blow-your-face-off volume? Thanks, and as always – if it’s too loud, you’re too freakin’ old! CRANK IT!

I’ve been bangin’ my head since the mid ’80s and while I only listen to music I can break stuff to, my 8 year old son, Nicholas, is starting to stray to the musical black hole of hip hop. He used to ask me to play Black Sabbath and now he’s asking for Black Eyed Peas! Sheeeesh!
  I was lucky enough to see Cinderella open for AC/DC back in ‘88 and “Shelter Me” is one of my favorite tunes of all time, from the killer blues guitar intro to the kick-ass chorus. I know if I can get him to hear this song he will come to the dark side once again. Nicholas and I have our sledge hammers in hand and we’re just waiting for you to cue it up!!!!

Not the new Vixen but the one with Janet (oh so hot), Share (another hottie), Roxy (very hot) and Jan (smokin’). Any song will do. These girls were kicking ass when hair metal was mostly guy bands…they deserve a salute, so let’s hear it! If it ain’t metal, it’s crap! Now let’s crank it out!
