Dee,
Motley Crue is my all-time favorite band and “Shout At The Devil” is a great song with strong lyrics by Nikki Sixx and Vince Neil singing the crap out of that song. Also, I was planning on being you from the “We’re Not Gonna Take It” video for Halloween. Is there anything I should do specifically to pull off that look?
- Nikki Sixx fan in Providence, RI, listening to WHJY

Dee,
As odd as it is, my favorite name to call people is Fuzzy Little Custard Puffs. I don’t know why, but I think it’s hilarious. Nobody says that anymore… or nobody did, as a matter of fact… except Jani Lane. If anyone out there doesn’t know who he is, he is the former lead singer of Warrant. I think it rocks that he still says that, so would you please play Cherry Pie by his former band? Thanks so much, Dee. You’re the sickest M.F-er I know. That was a compliment. And to anyone who doesn’t know….IF IT AIN’T METAL, IT’S CRAP!

I’ve listened to your metal for years, starting in Omaha when you first began on KEZO 92.3. I partied a little too hard and ended up doing 8 years in South Dakota, where I did meet metal heads from all over the world. We would all jam out every weekend on KRRO 103.7 in Sioux Falls every Sunday morning, and Sioux City’s KSEZ 97.9 on Saturday and Sunday. It made our time that much easier to have the best music around and stuff you don’t get to hear anywhere else. I am now in Phoenix, AZ, jammin’ on KDKB 93.3 every weekend. I am still clean, working as a stagehand doing gigs like the Mayhem Festival and Metal Masters. Metal never sounded better and life can’t get any better. So, to all you metal heads, keep listening, hit the music room, your day is coming soon.

I’m a big fan of White Lion and I saw them open for Ozzy back in the ‘80s. They broke up too soon but that’s how it goes. I’m a big fan of good ol’ ‘80s rock n’ roll and I’ve seen at least 45 concerts over the years from Motley to Ozzy, AC/DC, Iron Maiden…you name it, I’ve seen ‘em. Keep on playing that heavy stuff for us metalheads up in the Great White North!
