Motley Crue and Kiss had to pull the plug on a recent gig when a big rig carrying an estimated $6 million worth of equipment and pyrotechnics for the tour was involved in an accident en route to Detroit. The accident happened near Lima, OH, and the driver told the police that the truck drifted when he reached for a water bottle; he then overcorrected and the truck ended up in a ditch. The driver escaped serious injury and was ticketed for failure to control a vehicle. Luckily, no one else was injured and the concert was rescheduled for the following night.
