CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNER!

Congrats to KDKB/Phoenix listener Brian Schenk of Florence, AZ, who was the grand prize winner of our recent Warrant giveaway. In addition to scoring a copy of the band’s new CD, Rockaholic, Brian and a guest have scored VIP tickets to a Warrant show of his choice (Reno, NV), including a hotel stay and a one-hour private guitar lesson with Joey Allen!

Here is Brian’s winning entry:

“OTTER POPS! I recall reading Metal Edge in the ‘80s and Gerri Miller wrote that Joey loved OTTER POPS! I’ll bring them and some Heinekens for the lesson!

I loved his work on all Warrant albums and when he switched to a banjo for “Uncle Tom’s Cabin,” my jaw dropped! He is very talented and an underrated guitarist! “Shredder” is an awesome stamp for this man with fingers of lightning!

I would love to learn one of my favorite Warrant songs, “In The Sticks!” I don’t know how to play a lick on the axe and can’t even think of anyone else other than JOEY ALLEN to teach me for 60 mind numbing minutes (this took me one minute and 14 seconds to type, so my fingers have the skills, but not the right guidance!)! HELP ME, JOEY! I AM A ‘ROCKAHOLIC!’”

Winner and guest will have to sign legal disclaimers. Major rules include:

1. Grand Prize winner and guest must live in the Continental United States or Canada.

2. Grand Prize winner and guest must be 21 or over – no exceptions! Faxed copies of driver’s licenses and/or other official ID will be required if you are picked as the winner. Grand Prize winner and guest will also need to supply social security number for tax purposes.

3. Lodging is one (1) room, double occupancy. Hotel will be chosen by our Warrant sponsor at their discretion.
