TED NUGENT OFFERS HIS SERVICES AS PERSONAL SECURITY TO PAUL MCCARTNEY

Rock and Roll gun slinger, TED NUGENT, is offering to provide personal security for Rock and Roll animal rights activist, Sir Paul McCartney.

McCartney has been threatened by Muslim extremists if he plays a concert in Israel to celebrate Israel’s 60th birthday.

“Regardless that Paul and I have our obvious social, cultural, and culinary differences outside of music, I will not bend or waiver to voodoo religious whackjobs and neither should Paul,” exclaimed NUGENT.

NUGENT, an NRA Board of Director member, has trained extensively with military specialists and various law enforcement agencies for over 30 years. “It would be my pleasure to keep this legendary musical hero safe from terrorists and madmen, and then buy him a nice dinner of tofu,” said NUGENT.

“I’m Dirty Harry with a ponytail, and I’m at Paul’s service,” quipped NUGENT.

Yngwie Malmsteen to be inducted into Hollywood’s Rockwalk

Los Angeles, California, September XX, 2008 – Electric guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen, will be inducted into Hollywood’s RockWalk on Monday, October 13 at noon. Yngwie’s masterful technique, innovation, and flamboyant showmanship has mesmerized listeners since the early 1980s and inspired generations of aspiring guitarists around the world.

Born on June 30, 1963 in Stockholm, Sweden, Yngwie Malmsteen received his first guitar at the age of five from his mother, Rigmor. Originally having no interest in music, a September 18, 1970 TV special on the death of guitarist Jimi Hendrix became the day that the guitar-playing Yngwie was born. Yngwie immersed himself in music and spent long hours practicing the songs of Deep Purple. His admiration for Ritchie Blackmore’s classically influenced playing led him to absorb the classical structures of such masters as Bach, Vilvaldi, Beethoven and Mozart.

At the age of 15 Yngwie left school for good and formed the very first incarnation of Rising Force before moving to the United States in 1982 with only his ‘71 Strat® and an extra pair of pants. He performed for the first time in the U.S. the very next year and then, after playing on an album by Steeler, he formed Alcatrazz. After it became clear that he would need to go solo to fully develop his talents, Yngwie released his first solo album, Rising Force, in 1981. The album made it to #60 on the Billboard charts and gained Yngwie a GRAMMY nomination for best rock instrumental performance.

With his place in guitar history firmly established, Yngwie has continued to inspire guitarists worldwide for over a decade. He has released many classic albums including Marching Out (1985), Trilogy (1986), Odyssey (1988), Fire & Ice (1992), The Seventh Sign (1994), Inspiration (1996), Facing the Animal (1997), Alchemy (1999), Attack!! (2002) and Unleash the Fury (2005). He has also shown his versatility by producing his first completely classical work, Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra in Eb minor, Op.1, in 1997.

October 14, 2008 will see the release of his latest studio album, Perpetual Flame which he produced and engineered himself. The Fender® Custom Shop has also introduced the new Yngwie Malmsteen Tribute Series Stratocaster® guitar, a reproduction of Malmsteen’s beloved instrument that will be produced in limited edition.

Hollywood’s RockWalk is the only sidewalk gallery dedicated to honoring those artists who have made a significant impact and lasting contribution to the growth and evolution of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Blues and R&B. TWISTED SISTER have announce “Twisted Sister, A Twisted Christmas On Broadway”

Rock legends TWISTED SISTER have announced the “Twisted Sister, A Twisted Christmas On Broadway” holiday extravaganza, Friday, December 5, 2008 at the Nokia Theatre Times Square in New York City.

The show will feature the band performing songs from their now-classic rockin’ holiday CD and DVD, “A Twisted Christmas”, featuring TWISTED versions of beloved Christmas classics including “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, “Deck The Halls”, “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” and “Oh Come All Ye Faithful” inspired by their biggest hit, “We’re Not Gonna Take It”. The CD enamored both critics and fans alike.

TWISTED SISTER is using this holiday announcement to remind everyone it’s not too early to start thinking about holiday charity gift giving. The band is active, both collectively and individually in numerous charities throughout the calendar years. The band has donated to Autism Speaks/Cure Autism Now, with proceeds from their “A Twisted Christmas” CD. Ted Nugent reaches out to Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin was the first name on TED NUGENT’s list to receive an advance copy of TED, WHITE & BLUE: THE NUGENT MANIFESTO, comprised of 16 chapters on how to fix America. BILLY IDOL TAKES OVER LOS ANGELES

SET TO HEADLINE THIS WEEKEND AT JACK FM’S “JACK’S THIRD SHOW,” AT IRVINE, CA’S VERIZON WIRELESS AMPHITHEARE

When BILLY IDOL transformed the House of Blues in Los Angeles to the “House Of Billy” last week with three sold-out shows (Tuesday, September 16, Wednesday, September 17 and Friday, September 19), the legendary rocker delivered triumphant performances to a rapturous audience. He also stopped traffic on the Sunset Strip as the area became a virtual red light district, with the venue bathed in red klieg lights which could be seen from miles around.

To welcome IDOL for this very exclusive run, the building had its exterior strikingly wrapped with images of BILLY created by a cclaimed Obey Giant graphic designer and illustrator Shepard Fairey, who also designed the album artwork for IDOL’s latest release The Very Best Of Billy Idol: Idolize Yourself. Fairey’s Andre the Giant street art has been seen around the world and his credits include creating the iconic Obama “HOPE” poster, various anti-war posters and the poster art for the feature film Walk The Line. Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen played alongside IDOL’s drummer on “White Wedding” at Friday night’s show. Also in the audience for the run were Paul Cook of the Sex Pistols, Matt Sorum of Velvet Revolver and Phil Collen of Def Leppard.

The “House of Billy set lists included two brand new songs–“John Wayne” and “New Future Weapon”–alongside such IDOL classics as “Dancing With Myself,” “Eyes Without A Face” and “Cradle Of Love” (all of which appear on The Very Best Of Billy Idol: Idolize Yourself), along with Generation X’s “Ready, Steady, Go.”

On his night off during this run of shows, IDOL and Shepard Fairey hosted a party–at the Subliminal Projects Gallery near downtown Los Angeles where both Fairey and Billy’s son Willem took turns DJing for the crowd–to celebrate the week-long “House of Billy” shows and the creation of Billy’s album cover. On hand were actor Adrian Grenier, along with such musicians as Steve Jones and Paul Cook of the Sex Pistols, Phil Collen of Def Leppard, Billy Morrison of Camp Freddy and IDOL’s longtime bandmate, guitarist Steve Stevens.

IDOL closed up the week with a headlining spot at Sunday’s (September 21) Entertainment Tonight Emmy party sponsored by People magazine at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Cheering IDOL on were an array of actors and celebrities including Brooke Shields, Dana Delany, Amy Poehler and husband Will Arnett, Kristin Chenoweth, Paula Abdul, Valerie Bertinelli, Joely Fisher, Neil Patrick Harris, Masi Oka, Emmy winner Jeff Probst, Kristen Chenoweth, John Krasinski and Kathy Griffin.

Up next for IDOL: he will make his last appearance of 2008 when he headlines Los Angeles radio station Jack FM’s “Jack’s Third Show,” Saturday, September 27 at Irvine’s Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.

Fans can also catch up with BILLY on the new Guitar Hero® World Tour game–the definitive rock ‘n’ roll music videogaming experience–due out October 26. IDOL’s immortal “Rebel Yell” is one of 86 tracks (comprised entirely of master recordings) featured on the latest installment of the Guitar Hero® franchise.
