If you’re a fan of the Ronnie James Dio led Black Sabbath or Heaven and Hell, this is the prize for you! The House of Hair has 10 copies of THE RULES OF HELL, Rhino’s new five-disc set presenting Black Sabbath’s entire Dio-fronted catalog. Heaven And Hell, first out in ‘80, is now regarded as one of Sabbath’s all-time best, introducing epic cuts including “Neon Knights,” “Die Young” and the title track, which is featured in the game Grand Theft Auto IV.
Mob Rules (’81) features classics including the title track, “Falling Off The Edge Of The World,” “Turn Up The Night” and “The Sign.”
Live Evil, the group’s 1982 live double album, is a testament to the stage might of Sabbath’s Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, “Geezer” Butler and Vinny Appice (who replaced original drummer Bill Ward in ‘81) line-up on fourteen blistering tracks.
Dehumanizer (’92), regarded by many metal fans as a “lost classic,” came out after a decade long hiatus and rocks with tracks including “I,” “Computer God” and TV Crimes.”

The incarnation of Black Sabbath featuring Ronnie James Dio was born in 1980 when founding members Tony Iommi (guitar) and Terry “Geezer” Butler (bass) added the former Elf and Rainbow lead vocalist to the group. The line-up’s short but influential first stint together added an unforgettable chapter in Sabbath’s storied history. Then, in 2006, they delighted fans worldwide by rewriting the rules again - Dio, Iommi, Butler and Appice reformed under the new band name Heaven And Hell to record new tracks for Rhino’s compilation Black Sabbath: The Dio Years. The chemistry generated by their reunion led to an acclaimed world tour and live album and DVD in 2007. Heaven And Hell will continue to tour, and are currently recording their first studio album together since 1992.

Judas Priest to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

OZZFEST 2008…METALLICA AND OZZY OSBOURNE RAISE THE TEMPERATURE ON THE PLANET AT ONE-DAY STADIUM SPECTACULAR

It was a great day in Dallas.

The temperature: hot. The music: on fire. The crowd response: absolutely thunderous.

OZZFEST 2008 knocked it out of the park when two of the most colossal names in rock n’ roll–Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne–came together for a one-day stadium spectacular that was the defining metal event of the year. The AEG Live-promoted show on Saturday, August 9 grossed nearly $3.5 million and almost 30,000 fans got to experience a 13-hour show filled with legends, cutting-edge acts and OZZFEST alumni who ignited three stages at Pizza Hut Park in the hard music-loving state of Texas, including one devoted to the state’s bands.

Fans and critics agreed that both Ozzy (in his only U.S. concert appearance through the end of 2008) and Metallica (in their OZZFEST debut) delivered powerful and memorable sets. “Ozzy’s turn was his best in the area in years,” said Mike Daniel in his review of the show in the DALLAS MORNING NEWS (8/10/08), adding “…it was dramatic and brooding yet fun as a whole, especially during fantastic turns through ‘Bark at the Moon’ and ‘Suicide Solution.’” Writing in the FORT WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM about Metallica’s set, Teresa Gubbins noted that “…Metallica’s performance was so sharp and intense, it could’ve cut glass. (8/11/08)”

Before the sun went down, the day had an emotional moment when Hellyeah’s set transitioned into a special one-time only all-star tribute to fallen Pantera guitarist and Texas native “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott. The four-song tribute featured three Pantera classics (”Mouth for War,” “A New Level” and “Fucking Hostile”) and a moving version of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here.” As musicians celebrated the achievements of Dimebag–whose December 2004 murder while performing onstage at a Columbus, Ohio club still has the hard rock/metal community reeling– video images of his life were shown on stage.

(New York, NY-USA): Vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple/Rainbow/Yngwie
Malmsteen), bassist Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne), guitarist Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot) and drummer Simon Wright (ACDC) will bring their band Big Noize to Iraq and Kuwait in September.

The tour includes a show on September 11 which will mark the 7th anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks in the USA.

Soussan, currently in the studio in Los Angeles, knows that the show on September 11 with have an emotional impact and significance. Soussan explains, “For us to play on this day is vitally important and a privilege, as it remains a landmark in our history and a tribute to those who have been lost and wronged. 9-11marked the tragic loss of so many innocent people and the scars on thousands more who grieve their losses. When we said ‘Never to forget’ we must mean that every 9-11 is equally important, be it the first one or the hundred and first one.”

Turner is also looking forward to performing for and meeting with the brave men
and women from all countries who put their lives on the line every day. He reflects, “As a member of Deep Purple, I toured the region during the Gulf War when most entertainers were too afraid to do so. Although we experienced scud missiles flying overhead and excessive security measures, I thought that it was more important to bring the united force that IS music to parts of the world that so desperately needed it. I feel the same way about this tour, especially our show scheduled for September 11. After receiving hundreds of emails from service men and women who are big fans of my music, my manager and I were determined to find a way for me to go over there and play. I know this will be a life changing experience.”

The tour is organized by Jeff Thornton of Lone Wolf Entertainment and is part of the Multi National Corps Iraq program headquartered at Al Faw Palace in Baghdad, to bring entertainment to the Multi National forces stationed in Iraq and Kuwait.

Thornton has successfully comendeered numerous entertainment tours of military bases and locations. He says,”Big Noize playing on 9-11 in Iraq will certainly make a big splash and is certain to draw all of the soldiers, sailors and airmen out of their hootches to enjoy a night of classic hard rock! 90 minutes of a taste of home…rock and roll style…to forget about their daily routines in a war zone!”

What makes Big Noize unique is its heritage and concept. All members have a related and connected past. The band plays a power-packed set of favored hits that its individual members were known for because they wrote or performed them during their times of biggest

AC/DC Announce release of Studio Album “Black Ice”

On October 20, AC/DC will release Black Ice, their widely anticipated first studio album in eight years. Black Ice features 15 new tracks from brothers Angus and Malcolm Young, Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams, and Phil Rudd, produced by Brendan O’Brien at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, BC.

“Rock ‘N’ Roll Train,” the album’s first single, will debut on August 28th. The video will premiere in September. And the band is set to kick off its first world tour since 2001 in late October.

Man Raze: Surreal CD

Man Raze is:
Phil Collen (vocals/guitar) – Phil joined Def Leppard in 1982, and with band mate and best friend Steve Clark was able to create the bands highly influential and incredibly successful trademark dual guitar sound. Def Leppard have sold over 65 million albums world-wide to date. The band are currently on a headline arena tour in the US. A deluxe edition of their landmark album “Hysteria” (the biggest selling British rock album of all time) was released in late 2006.
Paul Cook (drums) – Founder member and mainstay with one of the most influential bands of all time – the Sex Pistols. The bands 1977 album “Never Mind The Bollocks…” has launched a thousand imitators and is constantly name checked by generation after generation of musicians.
