Their harmonizations are LEGENDARY! They are the best duo
that I have ever heard and they have so much fun together! You can
actually tell that they love playing together! (Unlike most musicians
these days). They play for the love of the music and the fans! (NOT
the money!)

Dear Dee, My first concert was Night Ranger (Great White
opened) in the summer of 1988 in Escanaba, Michigan when I was 17
years old. I grew up with a lot of Styx on the radio. Being a
Michiganian I was always a Nugent fan. I was thrilled when Damn
Yankees came on the scene. I always admired Tommy Shaw’s patience
with Dennis DeYoung. Jack Blades and Tommy Shaw coming together again
is way cool because they can still rock and reveal their roots. When
I was in my early teens I would mow lawns in the boondocks of Upper
Michigan next to Lake Superior with a Twisted Sister or Def Leppard
tape in my walkman. My father even let me put a Twisted Sister bumper
sticker on our family station wagon, he was more particular to Quiet
Riot (another one of my favorites). My daughter enjoys my hair metal
roots as I watch VH1 Classic Rock and listen to House of Hair every
Sunday before we go to church. Winning this CD would be another
thrill. Have a great day!

From Night Ranger & Styx to the Damm Yankees I’ve listened
to them all. Can’t get enough of this duo in harmony. Both guys have
magical musical talent and are easy on the eyes.

I have had a crush on Tommy Shaw since I was 10 years old.
I’m 36 now. I grew up on the music of NIght Ranger and they are the
best. I totally love their first album together. Their voices sound
so awesome together. The harmonies are the best.

I am a big fan of the Damn Yankees. I liked Styx and Night
Ranger but always felt as if they were missing something. Then the
Damn Yankees came out and WOW! I’ll have to admit that I didn’t know
that Blades-Shaw were still doing music together or that they put out
a CD before this one. If anything I will go out and get the first
Blades-Shaw CD. Thanks

From Night Ranger to Styx and Damn Yankees these two guys
have been there to rock the free world. Vocally I don’t think there
are many that harmonize as good as they do. Tommy can play a mean axe
and Jack makes the bass boom! I would like to receive their CD
because I am a big fan of all three bands plus I almost got hit by
Nugent’s # 13 tennis shoe when Tommy and Jack were dragging him off
the stage while playing a concert in Sioux City, IA. while both were
with Damn Yankees!! Thanks Mark

I’ve been a fan of Jack Blades when he was with Night Ranger
and saw him live at the North Dakota State Fair. Tommy is a great
singer and guitar player and is the driving force in Styx and can
play with anyone!!! When they got together for Damn Yankees with Ted
Nugent I thought that this was the great get together of talent to
ever form a band !!

When I was a young and impressionable kid back in early
’80s, Styx was the rock ‘n’ roll “drug” that introduced me to louder
and harder things. I can still remember Tommy Shaw exploding onto the
stage in a power-chord frenzy during the opening song of Styx’s sold-
out “Paradise Theatre” show in Bismarck, ND. When I say, “exploded,”
I mean literally. Perhaps it was the lovely ladies in the front row
standing next to me, or Tommy’s down-to-the-floor stage move (or a
combination of both) that caused his pants to rip at the crotch! Now,
I’ve seen a lot of rockers break guitar strings on the first song,
but c’mon, a wardrobe emergency? Years later at the same venue, I
took my then girlfriend Suzie to see Tommy “tear it up” with Jack
Blades and Ted Nugent in Damn Yankees. What a night that was! Suzie
and I got married the following year, and we’re still together after
15 years. Our secret to love and happiness? Must be the metal! We
faithfully listen to the House of Hair each and every weekend in
Surprise, AZ on 93.3 KDKB. Now gimme that damn CD!

I would like Shaw-Blades CD because I have all of Damn
Yankees CD’s. My favorite album was “Don’t Tread”. I am kinda excited
to hear what these guys can do without Ted and Michael.

I grew up listening to STYX and Night Ranger. Tommy Shaw is
one of the greatest singer and song writers of all times let alone a
kick ass guitar player. I also have the whole STYX cd collection and
Night Ranger collection plus all the Damn Yankees collection. This cd
would make a nice addition to my already great collection!

Are you kidding, the 80’s hair bands kicked ass!!!!!!!!!!! I
know I’m preaching to the choir. You have the best of two bands, and
they sound frickin wicked awesome! Haven’t heard the whole thing YET,
but what I have heard sounds great. You plannin any collaborations
there Dee???????????? Anyway, if you got an extra cd, toss it my way
- and I’ll CRANK IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Harmony, Harmony, Harmony Great Vocals. Loved them
seperately in Night Ranger and Styx and together in Damn Yankees. Saw
them on VH1 Classics doing the new album. Fantastic Sound!

I burned through two cassettes and at least two cd’s of
their first Damn Yankees. I think they are an awesome collaboration
and should keep right on making the music.

I have loved both of these guys since their earlier days
with multiple bands! Tommy made Styx what it is and he is still
carrying the torch today. I have seen him live every tour since
Crystal Ball and he has never disappointed me! He still rocks as hard
as ever whether it be with Harvest, MsFunk, Styx, Damn Yankees or
acoustically with Jack! As for Jack he too never disappoints live and
I am waiting impatiently for Hole in the Sun to be released in the
USA so I can check out the new Night Ranger, and if we are lucky a
tour over here. I was planning to buy Influence when I saw them in
Indianapolis IN on April 4th but unfortunately Tommy was under the
weather so they had to cancel the whole week’s shows. I felt really
bad for him but I was so looking forward to this show. Acoustical
sets really show what the music was in its conception and they can
spotlight their musical talent in such a different way. I have
Hallucination from back in the early 90’s and it is an outstanding
piece of work. I really would love to have the new Influence cd so I
could take it to the next live show I catch them with and if I am
lucky get an autograph. I have introduced both of my children to
their music and I am grooming them to keep the rockin torch alive.
You know if it doesn’t rock and it ain’t metal, it’s crap. I will
listen every week for you to call my name and tell me I won!
15. Randy Gagliano

I followed Tommy Shaw from Styx, And I followed Jack Blades
from Night Ranger. It was the utmost in music mastery when they
joined up with the axe master, Ted Nugent, in Damn Yankees. I have
seen them both every time they are in the Milwaukee area. Their music
is more than kick ass, it ascends one to a higher plain. Therefore if
this new cd is even one quarter of the quality of any of their
previous work then it is a must have. Then with this entry I WILL WIN
IT. So send it to me now so I can crank it up loud and proud.

Have you seen this tour? It is amazing!! 2 hours of two
artistically and rock driven MEN enjoying what they do! Gotta have
another cd!

I’ve been a fan of Tommy’s for over 30 years. Their two
voices TOGETHER are MAGIC. They had a winning combination with Damn
Yankees – as well as their 1995 solo effort, Hallucination (which is
amazing). They know how to pick the perfect tunes for their beautiful
harmonies….the list of tunes on Influence are GENIUS!!! I love Jack
and Night Ranger – but it’s Tommy (and Styx) who are #1 in my heart.
I’ve seen Styx approximately 135 times in my life…. and I am all
set to see them May 19, May 24, 25, 26 and June 1. The Shaw-Blades
show is a MUST for any fan of Jack or Tommy. I saw them in Atlantic
City in March – and it was remarkable! All that… and Tommy and Jack
are GREAT guys – in addition to their long-standing talent and
careers. Simply? THEY ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

I have loved JACK BLADES & TOMMY SHAW since the mid to late
70’s. I grew up listening to them in STYX &NIGHT RANGER. I still have
two of STYX’s cassette tapes, but am sorry to report that I wore out
the NIGHT RANGER tape, and have not been able to replace it. I just
bought my 15 year old daughter one of DAMN YANKEES concert videos.
Every now and then she leaves it ungaurded,so I get to watch and
listen to it. She gets a bit testy when I forget to put it back. I
think it only fair that I be able to listen to the DAMN YANKEES video
as well. The NIGHT RANGER tape I had was SEVEN WISHES. I always
really liked MR. ROBOTO and KILL ROY from STYX. My girlfriends and I
thought JACK BLADES had wonderfully curly hair, because most of us
had straight hair. We thought TOMMY SHAW had a very, very nice ass.
What else do teenage girls have to talk about, except how nice guys
butts are. I ask you? TOMMY SHAW & JACK BLADES are the hottest
ever!!!!! Thank you for letting me have this chance to enter into
this contest for two of the greatest performers ever. Even if I don’t
win at least my opinion was heard! Thank you again!!

I have been a Tommy Shaw fan going back to his STYX days. I
am a big fan of House of Hair with Dee Snider and have never won
anything from your show before. I loved the Damn Yankees and would
like to hear what Tommy Shaw’s latest project sounds like. I am a
also a huge Twisted Sister Fan so please pick me, my IPod needs some
new good songs.

I just moved all by myself {no friends or family} over 2000
miles away from home and the thing I have to take me to a happier
time is music. And one of the bands that brings the happiest memory is
Damn Yankees. So I would love to have some good memories with this new CD.
Thanks to ALL the HOH and Shaw-Blades Fans who entered the Shaw Blades Influence CD contest!
