In our first website contest ever, The House of Hair congratulates Jason Smith of Springfield, Missouri as our Warrant Grand Prize winner!!!!

Jason listens to KXUS, 97.3 FM and has just scored the new Warrant CD “Born Again” and a brand new autographed Warrant guitar!! Jason’s entry won over a record-setting amount of entries received. Luckily for the HOH, Jaime St. James and Erik Turner of Warrant graciously agreed to pick our grand prize winner. Here’s what they had to say:

I would like to give a special thanks to everyone who wrote in for our contest. We had so many killer entries but only one killer G&L guitar to give away. A bunch of you will get the new kick ass Born Again disk for your trouble and that’s not too shabby! In the end we chose a lot of entries we liked and one person we thought was a damn big fan for sure. We read a lot of great stories and some funny stuff and we thank you all.

Let’s see where do I start? I have the Blue Warrant logo tattooed across my right arm (the logo from the Dog Eat Dog CD). I got that 1st tattoo when I turned 18. I have the cover of the Dog Eat Dog (the band’s third CD) tattooed on my left arm.
They have been my favorite band since I was in the 6th grade and I am 28 years old now. I have seen the band around 26 times now, and I travel anywhere I can to go see the band play. If it’s in the midwest area, I am there!
I buy the band’s CD’s as gifts for friends or relatives.LOL I have a bundle of extra copies of each of the band’s releases, for both of my vehicles, for home, and after a while they start getting scratched from wear and tear, so I have to have backup copies.
I’ve got about 6 huge scrapbooks filled with Warrant memoribilia that I have been collecting since I started listening to them.
The best way to prove I am their biggest fan (other than the tattoos) is that I have DRFSR on my license plate for the state of Missouri. Ask Jerry Dixon, their bass player about it, since he has the other plate. LOL I had to go down to the DMV and order a new set of plates, to replace it. That is why I am their biggest fan, now top that you rockers! He he

How we choose the winner:

Only entries received by 3/14/07 will be considered. The HOH staff will choose the 25 qualifying winners, who each receive the new Warrant CD. Those entries will be sent to Erik Turner and Jaime St. James of Warrant and they’ll pick the Grand Prize winner who will win the G&L guitar! Entries will be judged on creativity, coolness, sincerity and maybe who they think will do this awesome G&L guitar justice!
